Introduction of lipstick products
What is lipstick? Lipstick, also known as lip balm, is a product that is applied to the lips to give them a brilliant color and moisturize them. Lipstick is usually made from oils, fats and waxes by dissolving and dispersing pigments. Therefore, the base components of lipstick mainly include: coloring agents, oils and waxes, and usually add flavors and preservatives. Lipstick-type beauty cosmetics can be used to outline the lip shape, moisturize, and soften the lips in order to achieve the main functions of protecting the lips from dryness and cracking, imparting tint to the lips, and emphasizing or altering the contour of the lips.
Below is a categorization of lip balms from different forms of classification:
(1) Lipstick is broadly classified into three types according to its color: primary lipstick, color-changing lipstick and colorless lipstick (also known as lip balm).
(2) According to the differences in the formulations of lipsticks, lipstick can be divided into moisturizing, waterproof, non-sticky cup, sunscreen, powder lipstick, long-lasting lipstick and oily glossy lipstick. General lipstick formulations are oil-based or wax-based. The common quality problems of lipstick packaging materials are such as: insufficient bead retaining force, too tight torque, too much or too little opening force, insufficient adhesion, contamination, etc. The reason for such problems may be due to the deviation of the production process management or the machine or tooling jig, mold/tuning is not in place, the standard is not clear, the staff operation error, etc., such as molding process size control is too poor, plating fixture is too tight with the product deformation, quality inspector measurement error to release the wrong information, etc. are common reasons that may cause defective products in the production process.
